I remember when gisele did her first Victoria’s Secret fashion Show. I sat there in awe. Like that’s a bad *@#*! Well, it \’s now official she is the highest paid model in the world, and #16 on the top paid entertainer’s list for women. When Naomi Campbell refrences you in this way:
"Models need to earn their stripes - I just think the term is used a little too loosely. Kate Moss is obviously a supermodel but, after Gisele, I don’t think there’s been one."
Gisele definitely has a huge say in the fashion world.
I am just hoping that my girl, Chanel Iman, can follow in her footsteps. She’s only 19, but she is doing it REAL big. She was in the ad campaigns for Ralph Lauren (which we know is a big deal bc he does not eff w people of color). At 19 she is breaking down barriers, and she is def getting love from the top women, Tyra, Gisele, and Naomi.
