If you have some free time tomorrow, (and you live in NYC) you may want to check out “Museum Mile”. It’s all day tomorrow on Fifth Ave from 82nd St to 105th St. It’s a free block party where all the museums on Fifth Ave open their doors in the name of visual art celebration. Check it out! I’ll be there!

If you’re free this weekend, check out the Big Apple BBQ. It’s in Madison Square Park, and there are like 15 vendors at $8 a plate. I went last year and consumed as much sauce as I possibly could. (I would have eaten so much more if I knew this time this year I would be a vegetarian). Good BBQ will be there like Rack-n-Soul, Dinosaur BBQ, and Jim-n-Nick’s!

On a variety of rooftops around NYC, there will be over 40 screenings this summer. Most are indie type films that won awards at the various film festivals. Events like these are great networking opportunities; I once met a woman who did casting for a lot of big films. I’ll be attending a few, esp. because many of them have comp drinks after! ;-)
The must-see on my list is HumpDay. It was a Cannes Film Festival Winner for the Special Jury prize and will hit theatres on July 10th.
