This show is the ish! I got Showtime just for their drama series. The writers over there are doing a really good job (if you haven't seen US of Tara and Eastbound & Down check those out too).

The plot revolves around a widowed affluent suburb housewife (Mary Louise Parker) who becomes her neighborhood’s marijuana dealer.
I watched the Season 5 premiere last night with one of my fav girls, which was somewhat anti-climactic, but I guess that's what it was supposed to be. Other than her being pregnant by her source/Mayor of a town in Mexico who said “You will lie back, open your legs, and show the doctor I have chosen that in your flat stomach there is a baby that is both male and mine.” and the laughs I got from Claire's ex-husband saying “Ah yeah, I’m broke and she’s my ex, so do what you gotta do, okay?” in response to a man threatening to kill her for ransom. There wasn’t much other hype.

Ah well... I still have high hopes. As good as USofTara was last season (even thought that is written by Diablo Cody, I still think Showtime knows what their doing, and will be sitting every Monday night with my TV on Showtime.
xoxo,
